Oct 09, 2017 The road in is Paved. Foxwoods Resort and Casino is open year round. There are 6-15 campsites at this location and the maximum RV length is unlimited. You may stay overnight at Foxwoods Resort and Casino. Mohegan Sun Casino Go casino hopping! Connecticut's 'other' casino, Mohegan Sun, is just a 15-20-minute drive from Foxwoods. In addition to doubling down on gaming, dining, and shopping, you can catch WNBA basketball action and other concert and sporting events.

Mohegan had a separate parking lot for RVs dry camping that over looks the river. No limits on stay length. As soon as you enter the parking lot, security will take you to the parking lot which overlooks the river. Security patrols the area and there is a shuttle every 15 minutes to the casino. Nice place to dry camp.
You have to attain a permit to stay here and because I was planning to sleep in my Toyota Rav4, they initially refused to issue me a pass. I was eventually able to convince them to let me for one night, but they weren't happy about it.

Excellent for free parking lot camping. Gorgeous view.
Very nice free camping spot for RV/Van Dwellers. It overlooks the casino and a river below. Beautiful scenery, even got to watch a train go by several times on the bank across the river. There is a shuttle bus that goes to and from the casino every 15-20 minutes.
The security guard told me that you can stay 7 days at a time-14 days if you request it. Then you have to leave for 1 day and you can come back again.
Stayed here in a 21 foot-long Class C (RV). Willie Jack would stay here again.

Stayed here 2 nights. Very nice time. Casino is a must see. Just flash your lights and casino security will come and give you a permit
